For real, I’m personality much more of a blonde in my everyday if we are using the silly stereotype: I forget everything in my short termed memory, I find amusement in the little things and I try not to take myself too seriously. My preceptor in mother baby when I started my nursing career was a gorgeous platinum blonde Elsa looking wonder. She was also the most positive force on the floor for me and one of the reasons why I made it in mother baby and on to Lactation Consulting. My highlights that I recently attained are really a connecting point to both her and her Lactation Consulting partner in crime Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn’s know how and instincts on the floor were second to none. She was a fierce intelligent Mamma warrior nurse who could uplift any Mamma while still being strong. Those girls are both strong, intelligent and compassionate consultants who are my friends and mentors in the field. It’s true what they say about blondes they do have more fun, but they forget to include that they are strong, fierce and intelligent to boot. I’ve been a brunette my whole life and there are honestly times where I get credit for smart things just for being a darker hue and it’s nonsense. Don’t let the stereotypes deter you look at the person for what they really are. Look at their heart. I’m definitely loving being a bronde 😊💗🙌🏼🤓 !
