Getreadywithmemamma wishing. My favorite necklace recently has been this glass orb filled with dandelion seeds. I bought it with my friend Rebecca in LeClaire, Iowa on a girls trip out to the shops. I could not pass it by it had whimsy, hope and promise all tied into one. I think that this was my childhood philosophy. As long as I believed in the magic of the moment and believed that there was hope and promise in tomorrow I was a happy kiddo. This pretty much has stayed the same for me. I’m definitely realistic too and have lived a few hard seasons. However, I just reform that bubble over my dreams and close my eyes and open them to my tomorrow. The seeds of yesterday blow all around me and settle where they may. That is what it is like to hope and believe in the promise of tomorrow. It may look like idealism, but actually it is bravery. It is what it’s like to be a parent to plant seeds in your children’s lives and to hope and to believe in the promise of tomorrow and to ultimately let those seeds go and blow them strongly into the world letting them fall where they may.
