Come Into the Light

Getreadywithmemamma come into the light. Does anyone else remember that scene from Disney’s “Beauty and The Beast”, where Belle has Beast show his face to her. Light can be telling, it shows us the truth about ourselves. It also directs us back to our origins and grounds us spiritually. “In thy light we see light”, was the motto of Valparaiso University, where I started my college adventures and where I met the love of my life, Brad. If I could only know then, what I know now about our life together. In ministry, we follow the light. This is harder than it sounds. Sometimes it calls us forward into new dreams and challenges, and sometimes it makes us look at who we have become and to make changes to get back to the path. I talked to my friend Carolyn yesterday and she has always been a soul sister. We have both struggled with things like identity and our will vs God’s will. It’s so easy to get swept away by the world’s shiny sparkly things and in so doing, to loose sight of who we really are. She reminded me to stay rooted in this adventure on social media. I’m grateful for her wisdom and felt called to sit a moment with God and to pray into this adventure. We have an open door policy here, where you can come and sit and stay a while as an artist, or subscriber and join us exactly as you are, no matter where you are on your Mamma journey. You can also take breaks and come back with no commitment, or judgment. I’m not selling anything, or trying to make you feel like your life is less then, compared to this fish bowl on social media. Instead, we are a platform for Mammas to grow. Do you want to be empowered and inspired, sit a while. Do you want to inspire others, sit a while.
